Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design provides professional interior design services, which may include design consultations, space planning, sourcing, project management, styling, and related offerings. Any scope of work, deliverables, and timelines will be agreed upon in writing before the start of a project.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if a client engages in conduct that is unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with a productive working relationship.

2. Payments & Billing

  • Payment terms, deposits, and project fees will be clearly outlined in your design agreement or invoice.

  • Payment may be made by credit card, ACH transfer, check, or other methods as agreed in writing.

  • Design fees, retainers, and deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.

  • Clients are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of services and/or additional charges.

3. Products, Furnishings & Vendor Purchases

In some cases, Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design may recommend or procure furnishings, finishes, or other products on behalf of the client.

  • We cannot guarantee availability, delivery times, or quality of items supplied by third-party vendors.

  • All vendor purchases are subject to the vendor’s terms and policies.

  • Returns, exchanges, or damages must be addressed directly with the vendor unless otherwise specified.

4. Use of the Website

By accessing our website, you agree not to use it for unlawful purposes, transmit harmful code, or engage in any activity that interferes with its operation. All content on this website (including text, images, and designs) is the property of Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design and may not be reproduced without written consent.

8. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate a service agreement in writing. Clients remain responsible for payment of all fees incurred through the termination date, including non-refundable deposits, purchased products, and services rendered.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design, its employees, and affiliates against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, website, or third-party vendors engaged at your request.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia (or the state in which services are rendered), without regard to conflict of law principles.
