Elizabeth Hartz

Elizabeth specializes in eclectic interiors mixing antiques with contemporary pieces; a look she grew to love during her time at MAC II in New York City. Elizabeth, a Virginia Beach native, attended New York School of Interior Design after graduating from college in Virginia.

From 1996 - 1999 she worked for the award-winning design firm for Mac II. It is there she honed her eye under the direction of Mica Ertegun. Mac II was frequently featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and House and Garden. Elizabeth moved back to Virginia to be near her family and join Stacey Briguera Interior Design. Since 2010 Elizabeth has owned EHID, and has continued to grow her company serving clients in Virginia, North Carolina, New York and Florida.

Ruth Robins

Ruth discovered her passion for interior design in 9th grade and has pursued it ever since. A Charlotte native, she earned her master’s from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York in 1998 and began her career with designer Ralph Harvard. After moving to Tidewater, she led the interior design department at Hanbury architecture firm, working on projects for NC State, Baylor, FSU, and historic residences in Norfolk. Now with EHID, Ruth loves collaborating with clients to create homes that reflect their individuality and provide a true sense of respite.

Jeannine Anderson

If the shoe fits, wear it—and that’s exactly how Jeannine found her place with Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design. With years of experience as a decorative fabric retail store manager, she worked closely with interior designers to source and coordinate the right materials, honing her organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and eye for detail. Today, as EHID’s office manager, Jeannine keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting both the creative team and clients to ensure every project stays on track.

Katherine Wynne

Katherine Wynne has been with Elizabeth Hartz Interior Design since the founding of the company and has been instrumental in shaping the studio’s design process and creative direction. As Principal Designer, she is involved in all aspects of each project, helping guide everything from concept development and selections to project coordination and installation. Her thoughtful approach and deep understanding of the EHID aesthetic help bring together spaces that feel refined, cohesive, and personal to each client.
